Element Information Name ChkDtl Definition The container for the specific check information on a transaction. DataType Container Attribute Information Attribute Name Use DataType Definition ChkTrcNr optional String [0, 15] The unique identifier for traceability within Check21 processing. ChkSerNr optional String [0, 15] The serial number of a check; i.e., the number that typically resides in the top right-hand corner of a check. ChkTypCd optional Personal [Indicates the check is from a personal checking account.], Commercial [Indicates the check is from a business checking account.], TravelersCheck [Indicates that Travelers Checks were used for payment of the collection.], MoneyOrder [Indicates that a Money Order was used for payment of the collection.], CashiersCheck [Indicates that a Cashier's Check was used for payment of the collection.], TreasuryCheck [Indicates that a Treasury Check was used for payment of the collection.], CreditCardCheck [Indicates that a Credit Card Check was used for payment of the collection.] The code that identifies the type of check, e.g., personal, business, money order, etc. ProcgMthdCd optional String [0, 20] The code that identifies whether a check is presented by a check writer who is present at the agency location. The sequence content model means that there is a particular order to the children elements of the parent element - in this case, the <ChkDtl> element has a particular order of elements that must be followed.
